Month of May Designated As National Skin Cancer Awareness Month

Recognized as the most common cause of cancer in the United States, skin cancer accounts for approximately half of all the cancers in the country. According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, more than 3.5 million cases of skin cancer are diagnosed each year, with the incidences of skin cancer outnumbering all cases of breast, colon, lung, and prostate cancers combined.
