How It Works

Piasecki MD Anti-Aging Day Cream with SPF 30 hydrates, nourishes, rejuvenates and protects skin with its effective hypoallergenic formulation. Water evaporates quickly from skin, our day cream helps to hold moisture in the stratum corneum, the outermost layer of the skin, creating a barrier in which helpful oils can’t escape. In parched circumstances, and especially when the sun is involved, unprotected skin can turn dry resulting in cracks and fissures that may invite infection and inflammation.

UVA rays penetrate skin and damage tissue, thus accelerating the aging process and increasing the risk of skin cancer like melanoma.   UVB rays damage the epidermis layer of the skin, harming the DNA structure of skin cells resulting in sunburn.  Should this occur, normal cells could transform to malignant cells leading to basal or squamous cell cancer.

Zinc Oxide is considered the safest and most protective ingredient available in guarding the skin from the harmful effect of ultraviolet (UV) rays.  SPF 30 blocks out 97% of UVB rays.  An advanced organic chemical agent acts as the second line of defense, absorbing any rays that penetrate the Zinc Oxide.  A precise combination of antioxidants act as a third mechanism to neutralize reactive oxygen intermediates that are biproducts of UV rays and can also damage cells.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural ingredient and one of the most powerful moisturizers available.  It works with the elastin and collagen already present in the skin to add elasticity and suppleness while stimulating new cell growth and hydrating skin.  Hylauronic acid can hold 1,000 times its weight in water, making it an ideal humectant that can plump skin and minimize the appearance of wrinkles and because of the unique formulation, give the entire face a tighter and more lifted appearance.

Vitamin C helps improve the appearance of pigment irregularities (melasma) commonly known as sun damage, age spots and “pregnancy mask”.  A powerful antioxidant, Vitamin C is an ascorbic acid that has shown to help counteract wrinkle formation by increasing collagen production, stabilizing skin’s natural loss of elasticity.

Piasecki MD Anti-Aging Day Cream SPF 30 works to moisturize and protect skin in a non-greasy, non-comedogenic formula.  Can be applied to all skin types.

Cosmetic|MD Skin Care lines are formulated to work synergistically in three simple steps morning and night. Together the Cleanser, the SPF30 Day Cream and the Night Moisturizer will result in beautiful, protected, healthy-looking skin.

For use as a sunscreen apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Use water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Reapply at least every 2 hours or immediately after swimming. For use on children under the age of 6 months, please ask your physician.

Never go without sunscreen...it is a NECESSITY.
