A: The only physician in the world who has completed a Mohs (skin cancer) fellowship and earned board certifications from the American Board of Plastic Surgeons and the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Piasecki has pioneered a treatment known as plastic micrographic surgery, where cancerous tissue is removed one layer at a time and cosmetic or reconstructive surgery is performed in the same office visit. Q: What does the skincare line consist of?
A: Scientifically based and specifically formulated for the skin, Cosmetic MD products include:

  • Utilizing a unique organic protein known as sericin silk, Cosmetic MD’s cleanser gently removes dead skin cells without disrupting the skin’s pH balance or stripping away its natural oils and emollients.
  • The moisturizer is equipped with sunscreen and three other protective layers from the sun that helps to prevent skin cancer and other visible signs of aging.
  • A night cream that is scientifically based and includes only the ingredients supported by science to help reduce the inflammation caused by environmental and physical stress, the appearance of fine lines, and brown, blotchy color unevenness.

Q: Where can the skincare products be found?
A: Cosmetic MD products are available at www.cosmeticmdskincare.com.  A substantial portion of the proceeds from the sale of Cosmetic MD products will be donated to support opportunities for children.
